At Utkal Grocery (www.utkalgrocery.com), we are dedicated to providing fast, reliable doorstep delivery for all your everyday essential needs. Below are the guidelines regarding our delivery areas, fulfillment timelines, charges, and handoff procedures.

1. Delivery Coverage Area

We currently provide home delivery services within our active local delivery zones.

To verify if we deliver to your location, simply enter your PIN code at checkout on www.utkalgrocery.com.

2. Delivery Timelines & Slots

Same-Day / Next-Day Delivery: Orders placed during standard operating hours are scheduled for delivery within the selected time slot or on the same/next day.

Order Tracking: You will receive updates via SMS, WhatsApp, or phone call once your order is packed and out for delivery.  

Delays: Delivery times are estimates and may occasionally be impacted by heavy traffic, severe weather conditions, or unforeseen local events. In such cases, our team will make reasonable efforts to inform you promptly.  

3. Delivery Fee & Charges

Standard Delivery Fee: A nominal delivery fee may apply based on your location and total cart value.  

Free Delivery: Free delivery is available on orders meeting or exceeding the minimum order threshold shown at checkout.  

4. Doorstep Handoff & Inspection

Mandatory Doorstep Inspection: Customers must inspect and verify all ordered items at the time of delivery at their doorstep.  

Receiving Orders: Please ensure someone is available at the provided address to receive the package and make cash/UPI payments (for COD orders).  

Unattended Orders: If a customer directs the delivery agent to leave parcels unattended (e.g., at a security desk or doorstep), Utkal Grocery holds no responsibility for missing, damaged, or spoiled items after the handoff.  

5. Failed / Refused Deliveries

If a delivery attempt fails due to an incorrect/incomplete address, unreachable contact number, or unavailability of the recipient, our delivery agent will attempt to reach out.

Repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts may result in order cancellation.
