Payment Policy

At Utkal Grocery (www.utkalgrocery.com), we aim to make your grocery shopping seamless and secure. Below are the guidelines regarding payment methods, order confirmation, and security.  

1. Accepted Payment Methods

To offer convenience, we accept the following payment options at checkout:

UPI Payments: Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, and bank UPI handle options.

Credit & Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, RuPay, and Maestro cards.

Net Banking: Supported across all major banking institutions.

Cash on Delivery (COD): Available for selected delivery pincodes and order values. Cash must be handed to the delivery representative at the time of doorstep handoff.

2. Pricing & Currency

All prices listed on www.utkalgrocery.com are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.

Product prices and special promotional offers are subject to real-time updates. The final payable amount will be displayed in your cart total prior to payment confirmation.

3. Order Processing & Payment Confirmation

Prepaid Orders: Orders will be processed immediately upon successful payment verification through our payment gateway.

Failed Transactions: If your account is debited after a payment failure at checkout, the bank usually remits the funds back automatically within 3 to 7 business days.

COD Orders: Cash on Delivery orders are confirmed once placed, but require full payment in cash or on-spot UPI scan before or during doorstep order transfer.

4. Secure Transactions

We prioritize your financial safety. All online payment processing is handled through PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways featuring bank-grade encryption. Utkal Grocery does not collect, store, or view your credit card details, debit card numbers, or banking passwords.

5. Non-Payment & Order Cancellation

Utkal Grocery reserves the right to cancel or withhold any order if:

Payment authorization is declined by your bank or card provider.

Fraudulent activity or unauthorized account usage is suspected.  

Unpaid COD orders are refused or rejected at the time of delivery.
